Two incidents during Christmas week (2009) prompted me to start this blog. I felt I needed to vent my frustrations as a Singapore consumer when I come across service providers who do not care a hoot about doing a proper job. At the same time, this blog offers me an opportunity to shower praise on those diligent workers who go the extra mile to provide excellent service and to let them know that their good work is being appreciated. I hope all the stories that I write will help to create a greater awareness of the need for good service. By the way, I am a retiree who believes that, despite all the efforts to improve the quality of service, there is still a lot to be desired and we should all, as consumers, be doing something about it. Apart from my own experiences, I will also gather and post those of my friends and family members. Hopefully, the wider range will provide a better insight into the service situation in Singapore.
